Bobby Zamora takes precisely 16 minutes to open his QPR account. It’s a well-worked goal too, starting with Adel Taarabt’s flick out on the left. He feeds Djibril Cisse, who plays in Shaun Wright-Phillips inside the box. He tees up Zamora, who buries his shot past the helpless Wayne Hennessey. The Wolves defence could do nothing to stop it.

GOAL West Brom 1-1 Swansea – Gylfi Sigurdsson

Yep, less than 60 seconds later, Swansea are level. The Welsh side break forward down the left and Neil Taylor squares the ball for Gylfi Sigurdsson to sidefoot home. That’s the Icelandic international’s first goal for his club.

RED CARD Stoke’s Robert Huth

Harsh this. Very harsh. Robert Huth does catch David Meyler after sliding in but I don’t think he means it, and I’m pretty sure he cannot avoid it. Surely referee Martin Atkinson has to take the conditions into account? No, he doesn’t, and produces a red card instead. Potters boss Tony Pulis is furious, and is forced to bring on Jonathan Woodgate for Jermaine Pennant to bolster his defence.
