Arsenal survived a scare on the first leg of their UEFA Champions League play off battle against Besiktas as Arsene Wenger’s men came away with 0-0 score line despite finishing that tie with only 10-men.

Gunners manager, Arsene Wenger admitted that he was quite pleased with his players performance, noting their success in keeping Besiktas aggressive display at bay in that tie.

Wenger admitted that their opponent were much more dangerous because of the fast paced football they played, but reminding everyone that Gunners are still not 100% fit yet at the moment.

As for Besiktas, head coach, Slaven Bilic was also proud with what his team displayed as they put on a positive display against a much more favorite Arsenal side.

Having a 0-0 score line, both teams still have all to play for in the second leg, though Gunners might be tipped as favorite since they will be playing at Emirates stadium.
