Villas-Boas Attacking Options for Spurs Cut Off With Defoe’s Injury

Injury woes continue to haunt Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas as his option upfront got cot off again with recent reports stating that Spurs’ forward, Jermaine Defoe will be out for at least three weeks.

Although admitting that the decision in not making any striker purchasing in January was a gamble, Villas-Boas still believe that they will eventually overcome their current problem, especially since Defoe’s injury isn’t a long term and Emanuel Adebayor should return from Africa soon.

With the potential absentees of his two top strikers, Villa-Boas plans to push his midfield players, Gareth Bale and Clint Dempsey further forward.
