Dutch side, Feyenoord Rotterdam appointed a new head coach as they introduced former national team star, Giovanni Van Bronckhorst, who is excited with his role.

The former Barcelona left back revealed that being Feyenoord’s head coach is like a dream come true for him, so despite his appointment didn’t arrive at the best timing, he still cherish it.

Van Bronckhorst stated that taking over the team in this late stage of season is far from ideal as he must immediately guide his side for Eredivisie Europa League playoff stage.

The new tactician is confident though that he can help his side get that European football spot for next season, which will be a positive start to his coaching career.

Although admitting that it is more ideal for him to take over next summer, but that doesn’t stop Van Bronckhorst for being optimistic with his ability in leading Feyenoord into a positive end of season.
