Tottenham Hotspur are getting closer to second place seat Manchester City as Mauricio Pochettino’s men picked up an impressive away victory over Everton this Sunday.
Playing away from Home, the Lilywhites hammered their opponent, 6-2 with Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min both grabbing two goals.
The away side didn’t actually had the best of start as they found themselves trailing after 21 minutes through Theo Walcott’s effort.
However, Son continuing his fine goal scoring form by snatching Spurs’ equalizer six minutes later, before Dele Alli turned things around with his effort on 35 minutes.
That match starting to go into the visitor’s hand as Kane made it 3-1 just before half time break, giving Pochettino’s side a comfortable lead as they go into half time break.
Things starting to more comfortable for Tottenham when Eriksen grabbed their fourth goal, but few minutes later, Everton sparked a potential come back with Gylfi Sigurdsson’s strike.
However, that spirit was soon crushed again as Son completed his brace on 61 minutes, which was eventually followed by Kane’s second on 74 minutes to complete the rout.
That was an impressive result indeed for Tottenham as they look to finally discover their form again after such inconsistent start into their current season.
Pochettino’s men are now just two points away from Man City in second place, triggering another potential title challenging season if they can keep their current form.
