A disappointing news arrived for England national side as they won’t be able to play Daniel Sturridge on the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifier against Switzerland as the Liverpool picked up a hamstring injury.

That bad news was already confirmed by England Football Association (FA) and the player himself who shared his disappointment through social, media stating his hope to immediately recover and play for Liverpool again.

Further reports also suggesting that Sturridge might be missing from some of his club’s fixtures, though it might not take too long before the former Chelsea man can finally get himself back on the pitch again.

Without Sturridge, England still have couple of options as potential partner for Wayne Rooney, such as Danny Welbeck or Rickie Lambert who will both be expecting to get that starting spot on Monday.
