Steven Gerrard Explained Retirement Decision

Liverpool skipper, Steven Gerrard spoke about his decision to retire from international football to the media revealing that it’s something that he has discussed with his family and close relatives.

Gerrard also stated that he didn’t immediately announced his retirement right after World Cup as he needed some time to reflect things before deciding whether or not his making the right decision.

Furthermore, the veteran midfielder also admitted that it’s getting harder for his body to play for both England and Liverpool, that’s why it’s best for him to solely focus with The Reds.

Already hitting 34-year-old, it’s understandable that Gerrard calling it quit from England national team as he already played 114 times for Three Lions, though during his time, there haven’t been much international success that Three Lions had.
