Diego Simeone ended recent speculation about his future after the tactician signed an extension with Atletico Madrid to manage the Spanish club until 2020.
Speaking to the media regarding his new deal, Simeone expressed his gratitude towards everyone at Atletico who have helped him in staying at Vicente Calderon for five more years.
The tactician said that it’s not difficult for him in deciding to continue his adventure with Atletico as Simeone believes that his current club is still growing.
Simone revealed that he is very happy knowing that he has been given the opportunity to choose what he wanted and without much doubt, staying at Atletico Madrid is what he is keen on doing.
