Scolari Steps Down as Brazil Coach

Luiz Felipe Scolari finally ending his reign as Brazil national team coach as the tactician decided to step down from his role knowing that Brazil Football Federation (CBF) are not keen on renewing the veteran tactician’s contract.

Scolari was being heavily criticized after Brazil disappointing ending to their World Cup campaign, losing 7-1 in the semifinal against Germany before bowing down 3-0 to Netherlands for third place play offs.

After a pretty positive start on their World Cup campaign, it was truly a disappointing end which basically left many fans upset, especially with Scolari as supporters were expecting something more from the veteran tactician.

The veteran previously refused to quit his job and left things in the hands of CBF, but on Monday, reports stated that he opted to step down eventually as rumors were already spreading that his contract won’t be extended anyway.
