Rodgers Praises Shelvey Performance on Liverpool’s Win

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers was happy with his players performance during their 3-2 victory over West Ham United on Sunday. Rodgers also gave a special credit to youngster,  Jonjo Shelvey, who played well considering being placed in a new attacking role, replacing Luis Suarez.

Rodgers said that Shelvey were outstanding on the day and has always been good everytime being given a playing time by the tactician this season. Playing in what many said today as false nine, the young midfielder did well to link things up upfront which really pleased his manager.
