Just as many football fans already know, Steven Gerrard is set to play his final match for Liverpool at Anfield this weekend and ahead of that tie current Reds’ boss, Brendan Rodgers express his thoughts for the midfielder.

Although there were rumors about him and Gerrard not getting along recently, Rodgers claimed that he has a huge respect towards the former England captain.

Rodgers even admitted that he will surely miss Gerrard, as his contribution for Liverpool during the former Swansea boss’ reign is very huge.

Furthermore, the tactician also stated that it’s impossible to replace Gerrard, especially his strong character, but he believes Liverpool must keep moving on and find a way to play without their talisman.
