Real Madrid’s failure to secure David De Gea this summer may created a negative buzz all around, but that doesn’t seem to affect Los Blancos’ defensive performance at all.

So far, Madrid still haven’t let in any goals at all, not just during their La Liga matches, but also when they won their first Champions League fixture against Shakhtar Donetsk this midweek.

The performance of Keylor Navas has been more than solid enough for Rafael Benitez team, despite he was supposedly close to join Manchester United this summer as part of that De Gea transfer.

Although it’s still early in the season, Navas’ solid display might continue to raise questions for Madrid’s management intention on snatching De Gea again next summer.

The Spanish keeper did sign an extension with Man United recently, but many still believes Los Blancos will make another bid for De Gea.
