Pulis Believes Fatigue Cost Stoke Against Wigan

Stoke City failed to pick up all three points on their last home game in the league after they were held into a 2-2 draw against Wigan on Tuesday. Commenting about the game, Stoke’s manager Tony Pulis admitted that he was disappointed seeing his side couldn’t maintain their two goal lead as they switched off in the second half.

The manager believes that fatigue was a key factor which prevented his team from picking up all three points on the midweek as his players lost their plot after the break, after putting on an excellent first half display. However, Pulis also credits Wigan for their strong effort in getting back after going two goals down already in the first half.
