Disappointing news arrived from Paris Saint-Germain camp as their super star, Neymar might not be available for their Champions League second leg clash against defending champion, Real Madrid.
That probability was shared by PSG coach himself, Unai Emery in a recent news conference stating that his Brazilian star now has a small chance to play for that upcoming big game against Lons Blancos due to the former Barcelona man’s recent injury.
Neymar picked up a serious injury during Le Parisien’s 3-0 home win over rival, Marseille on Sunday, but Neymar was stretchered out of the pitch just before that match ended.
Following recent check ups, it’s confirmed by the French club themselves that their summer signing had a sprain ankle along with a crack on the fifth metatarsal on his right foot.
Rumors suddenly spreading that the Brazil international would required a surgery which will keep him out for three months, but those reports were squashed by Emery, who stated that PSG haven’t made any decision to do any surgery on Neymar.
Moreover, even though there’s a small chance for the Brazilian super star to recover for Emery’s team UCL battle against Madrid, the Spanish tactician is not losing hope at all.
The former Valencia boss stated that they will wait calmly over Neymar situation, but should the 26-year-old is really out for that big European clash, PSG still have other players who can replace him.
