The battle for Premier League title might still not be over yet this season as current leader dropped two points on their latest league fixture against Burnley.
Antonio Conte’s side were held into a 1-1 draw against The Clarets, despite taking the lead first through Pedro’s effort after just seven minutes into that tie.
However, the home side were able to bounce back as they got back on level terms, thanks to a goal from Robbie Brady on 24 minutes.
Despite The Blues’ attempt in putting more attacking pressure, no more goals were scored until the final whistle was blown and Conte’s men were forced to take only one point from that game.
It was never an easy task though since Burnley have been playing well at their home ground at Turf Moor this season, so Chelsea can still consider it as a positive result.
That 1-1 draw puts The Blues 10 points ahead of joint runners up, Tottenham Hotspur along with Arsenal, which remain a pretty huge gap.
However, other contenders might feel that hope is not all gone knowing Chelsea can still drop points against teams outside of the top six.
Having that mental attitude might be enough for Spurs along with Gunners to keep pushing hard and add more pressure for Conte’s side in the remaining league fixtures.
