Pellegrini Explains Man City’s Reason to Let Negredo Go

An interesting transfer decision was made by Manchester City on dead line day earlier this month by letting go one of their strikers, Alvaro Negredo on loan to Valencia with an obligation to buy agreement.

Seeing that injury problems could be troubling City attacking line up this season, many questions Negredo’s selling, but City’s boss, Manuel Pellegrini stated that his club doesn’t have much choice aside from making that decision.

Pellegrini revealed that the players restriction they received along with Negredo’s injury condition at the time basically triggered City to make that decision, adding the fact that the striker himself is also keen on returning to Spain.

Being one of the fans favorite players last season, especially during the first half of season, not many would predicted that Negredo would be leaving Etihad so soon, but time flies pretty quick indeed in football.
