Nigeria and Argentina Set for Do or Die Battle in World Cup 2018

A thrilling do or die battle set to entertain football lovers from all over the globe when Nigeria and Argentina are battling for that important spot in the knock out stage of FIFA World Cup 2018.

Both teams are staged in that massive battle following the results of their previous two games, which saw the Super Eagles grabbing three points, while Argentina only snatching one point ahead of their final group game.

The African giant have a slight edge over their opponent since they might just need a point to secure that second round spot, but it’s certainly more convincing should they bag all three points against Argentina.

Although Albiceleste haven’t been in good condition in the tournament so far, Nigeria are not in the position to underestimate Jorge Sampaoli’s side, especially knowing that the African side didn’t have a good history against Argentina.

As for Sampaoli’s team, still having the chance to advance from the group stage certainly brings that slight new motivation for Lionel Messi and co to give their all in this final match.

The two time world champion must washed away the disappointment their feeling after their 3-0 defeat against Croatia as it’s important to have a strong mindset and mentality before facing such important battle against Nigeria.

Argentina’s good record against the African side in previous world cup can give an extra confidence boost, but should not be taken as a privileged since anything can happen in this type of game.
