Newton-Terry’s Tuesday Selection Was Never in Doubt

Chelsea skipper, John Terry, might be having lots of issues on his mind at the moment especially with his FA hearing schedule, but that doesn’t stop him from playing for his team on Tuesday.

Despite haven’t really been spending much of his time in the training ground, Terry was surprisingly selected for Chelsea’s League Cup tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers, which the Blues won 6-0.

Commenting about this, the Blues’ assistant manager, Eddie Newton, said that there was never any doubt from the coaching staffs regarding the skipper’s focus, that’s why he was opted to play from the start against Wolves.
