Belgium’s adventure in Euro 2016 came to an end last Friday following a disappointing 3-1 defeat over Wales, somewhat a shock outcome considering Red Devils’ favorite status.
Marc Wilmots’ men actually started out that tie in the best possible way when their midfielder, Radja Nainggolan scored a screamer.
The AS Roma midfielder unleashed an unstoppable long range shot after just 13 minutes to give his side the lead supposedly lift themselves up.
However, it seem to has a backward effect, as after that goal Gareth Bale and co actually were more dangerous and causing all sort of problems for Belgium.
In the end, that tie went into Wales favor, much to Belgium disappointment as Wilmots’ men were very keen on proving their worth as one of the favorites.
Obviously, Nainggolan himself will feel that extra disappointment, knowing that his special goal didn’t give his side that all important victory.
