The pressure on Antonio Conte at Chelsea gets even bigger following his team’s second heavy defeat in a row as on Monday they were beaten 4-1 by Watford.
Following a shocking 3-0 loss on midweek over Bournemouth, The Blues were determined to experience a different kind of outcome, but things just didn’t go well again for Conte’s boys.
Signs of Chelsea’s trouble arrived after 30 minutes of play when they were forced to play with just 10 men following a red card for Tiemoue Bakayoko.
That sending off certainly made things difficult for the away side as soon afterwards they conceded a goal through Troy Deeney’s spot kick.
Conte tried to shake things up after the break and were keen on pushing for an equalizing goal despite playing with a man down.
The Blues’ attempt was actually successful as they did manage to draw level on 82 minutes thanks to their star player, Eden Hazard’s effort.
However, that scoreline didn’t last long as a late collapse turned things around again for Chelsea, starting with Daryl Janmaat’s goal on 84 minutes, which then followed by goals from Gerard Deulofeu along with Roberto Pereyra.
That 4-1 defeat certainly puts The Blues’ situation under serious problem, especially regarding Conte’s future, who has been under lots of questions for the most part of this season.
