Milan Release Mihajlovic, Appoint Brocchi as New Coach

The merry-go-around regarding AC Milan’s coaching role continue this season as despite only having seven matches left in Serie A, Rossoneri opted to sack Sinisa Mihajlovic.

As it was confirmed via their official site, Milan revealed that they have parted ways with the former Sampdoria tactician and selected Cristian Brocchi as replacement.

Brocchi’s appointment itself is currently under a temporary status as final decision about his future will depend on what happens in Rossoneri’s last few matches, including Coppa Italia final.

Mihajlovic’s release as head coach happened following Milan’s 2-1 home defeat against Juventus, a result which was not pleasing for owner Silvio Berlusconi.
