Milan, Lazio Won Thriller as Inter Stumble in Serie A

Following Juventus and AS Roma’s victory on Saturday, Italian Serie A offer a much more entertaining stuff during Sunday fixtures as AC Milan and Lazio escaped thrilling tie while Inter Milan were beaten.

Rossoneri started off brightly on Vincenzo Montella’s debut, taking a one goal lead going into half time break through Carlos Bacca’s header.

Andre Belotti equalized early in the second half, but two Bacca’s goals looked to make it safe for Milan, before their dropped of intensity puts them in trouble with Torino pulling one back through Daniele Baselli’s effort.

Milan almost threw it away when they conceded a penalty late in the game, but Gianluigi Donnarumma made a sensational save on Belotti.

Lazio looking to cruise their way after taking a 3-0 lead in the first 45 minutes, but Atalanta came back to make it 3-2 midway into the second half.

Just when Biancocelesti though they were finally save with Danilo Cataldi netting his side’s fourth, Andrea Petagna gave another late scare for Lazio but they managed to hold on.

Meanwhile, Frank De Boer’s debut with Inter didn’t go well as his team suffered a shocking 2-0 defeat from Chievo Verona, thanks to a double from Valter Birsa.

Last season’s runners up, Napoli escaped defeat as they came back from a 2-0 down in the first period to snatch one point from newcomer, Pescara.
