Milan Confirmed Interest In Fabregas, Shut Door On Ibrahimovic Return

Italian giant, AC Milan are not shying away on admitting their plan for the January transfer window, including revealing their interest in signing Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas.

That transfer idea was confirmed by the club’s director, Leonardo, who speak to the media saying that they are keen on signing Fabregas, but a deal is still far from completion.

The Brazilian explained that for now they are indeed considering the former Arsenal and Barcelona man, but everything is still under evaluation.

Leonardo added that Milan’s odd situation with FFP forced them to always be extra careful with the transfer market, that’s why Rossoneri must first understand what terms they will need to get Fabregas.

Nevertheless, rumors are claiming that the Red and Black squad are just waiting for UEFA’s sanction before making a concrete move for the Spaniard.

Aside from Fabregas, Leonardo also discussed about rumors regarding Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s situation, which the director immedately confirmed that the Swede won’t be returning to San Siro.

The former Paris Saint-Germain star is determined to keep his promise with LA Galaxy and will stay there for another season at the very least.

This statement pretty much ended speculation about Ibrahimovic’s future as he has been linked with a potential move back to Europe next January.

Although seemingly ending their talks with the 37-year-old striker, Leonardo ensured that they will still be looking to sign a new attacker this winter.
