Messi Thinks 2018 is His Last Chance to Win World Cup for Argentina

Only finishing as runners up in previous World Cup certainly left a bitter taste for Argentina players, notably their super star Lionel Messi.

The Barcelona player admitted that their defeat in 2014 was a disappointing part of his career, while stating that this upcoming World Cup will probably his last shot to win it for Albiceleste.

Sharing his thoughts in a recent interview, Messi added that it’s not only him, but mostly other teammates of his generation such as Gonzalo Higuain, Sergio Aguero who have been around for quite a while together.

Furthermore, the 30-year-old added that he and his teammates are determined to wipe away that bitter taste they experienced for only finishing second to Germany four years ago.

However, the attacker admitted that it will be much tougher for Albiceleste to win or even makes it into this year’s final since there are several teams that are more favorites such as Germany, Spain, Brazil and France.

Still, that won’t stop Messi and co from giving their all in their attempt to make right their mistakes in previous tournament.

Although he might still have another shot to participate in the next World Cup four years later, the football genius certainly believes that this moment could be the last time he is still on his prime.
