Man United’s Juan Mata Out for the Rest of Season
Manchester United’s attempt in pushing for the top four seat in Premier League won’t be getting any easier, especially after recent confirmation stating that they won’t be able to field their Spanish star, Juan Mata for the remaining of this season.
That news was revealed by Man United’s boss, Jose Mourinho himself who informed the press that Mata won’t be available for action again until late may, which practically means that this season is over for the Spaniard.
Although United still have several options to replace the former Chelsea man, but it might still be considered a tough loss for Mourinho’s side, sine Mata so far has been The Red Devil’s second top scorer after Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Nevertheless, there’s nothing much that the club can do as the attacking midfielder recently had a groin surgery, which certainly needed a certain amount of time before eventually labeled fit to play again.
A disappointing news indeed, notably for Mata himself as this weekend could’ve been another special moment for him as Man United are scheduled to face up against Chelsea on Sunday.
Being a former star player of The Blues, the Spanish international surely feel that urge of showcasing his quality in front of Blues supporters.
