Man United Set to Sign Benfica’s Lindelof
Being expected to make another huge spending in this upcoming summer transfer market, Manchester United finally start their spending spree by agreeing a fee for young Benfica defender, Victor Lindelof.
Although the deal is not officially done yet, but both teams have basically agreed on fee, so everything can be concluded once Lindelof completed his upcoming medical at Manchester.
The club confirmed that agreement via their official twitter page, adding that aside from medical, they would also require international clearance along with concluding personal terms with the Sweden international.
Despite lacking several stuff, it’s very likely things will eventually go through as the deal has been rumored to be struck since a while now, as the defender is well liked by Man United’s boss, Jose Mourinho.
This announcement might also reduce some disappointment from United fans following Antoine Griezmann’s recent decision to stay at Atletico Madrid, instead of pushing a move towards Old Trafford.
Nevertheless, Man United will certainly keep working on upgrading their team as their next target supposedly a striker with Real Madrid forward, Alvaro Morata being strongly linked.
It will certainly be interesting to see how much money Mourinho’s men are set to spend this summer after continuously cashing out big time in recent season.
