Man United Regained Confidence Over Top Four Battle

Two consecutive draws that Manchester United picked before the weekend somewhat diminished their beliefs in challenging for top four seat.

However, that confidence rises against this past weekend as they snatched an impressive 3-0 away victory over struggling Sunderland side.

That new voice of confidence was voiced out by none other than the club’s manager, Jose Mourinho, who also admitted should they failed to grab all three points on Sunday, Man United’s top four shot basically ended.

Speaking to the media right after that tie, Mourinho emphasized the sheer importance of their victory over Sunderland, especially since their rivals for top four seat, Liverpool and Manchester City both won their games.

Nevertheless, the Portuguese tactician admitted that it won’t be an easy ride for Man United to get into Champions League route via Premier League since they do have a very though schedule.

Still, the former Chelsea manager stated that should they can’t fulfill their league ambition, United do have another opportunity via Europa League battle, which they will push hard to win.

Speaking more about their 3-0 win over Sunderland, The Red Devils once again have to thank their Swedish star, Zlatan Ibrahimovic who opened the scoring and grabbed one assist for Marcus Rashford, while another goal was netted by Henrikh Mkhytarian.
