Man United Ended Winning Drought

Manchester United finally rediscovering their winning touch as they defeated Everton 2-0 on New Year’s day.

Drawing their last three league matches, Jose Mourinho’s men were eager to grab all three points as they don’t want to lose more ground with runaway leader, Manchester City.

United  put on a positive approach on that tie, but it was far from an easy task, especially in the first 45 minutes as both teams struggle to score goals.

That opener certainly made things more calmer for the visitor as they eventually able to secure their victory after snatching that second goal, this time from Jesse Lingar’s strike.

The victory temporarily put Mourinho’s men back on second place seat ahead of Chelsea, but Antonio Conte’s men have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Liverpool still showing their positive run as they picked up a hard fought 2-1 victory over Burnley.

Sadio Mane’s puts the Reds’ ahead on 67 minutes, but Burnley got themselves back on level terms through Johann Gudmundsson with his 87th minutes effort.

Just when the match was heading into a draw, Liverpool snatched a late winner with a goal from Ragnar Klavan, deep in stoppage time.
