Man City Part Ways With Roberto Mancini

Despite continuous denial about his status at Manchester City, Italian manager, Roberto Mancini was officially sacked by the club’s management late on Monday, soon after their failure in winning the FA Cup after being defeated by Wigan Athletic on Sunday. Man City official statement revealed that their failure in achieving any of their objectives this season have triggered their decision in parting ways with Mancini.

Rumors are currently linking Malaga head coach, Manuel Pellegrini as potential replacement for Mancini, but the Spaniard has previously denied any deal with Man City for next summer. However, things may changed just before the transfer market re-opened again in the next couple of months.
