Being widely considered as one of Manchester City’s key players in recent successful seasons, Yaya Toure’s current performance has been receiving criticism by many, especially during City’s 1-0 defeat over Bayern Munich.
However, Man City head coach, Manuel Pellegrini, refused to follow that opinion as he believes that Toure doesn’t deserved to be criticized, even during his team’s midweek Champions League tie.
Pellegrini also ensured shut down rumors that Toure’s drom of performance is becasue his been having an issue with the club. The Spanish tactician ensured that his Ivory Coast international doesn’t have any problems with the club and always behave professionally.
The tactician’s defense over his midfielder will be put to another test this Sunday when Man City host Chelsea, should Toure can regain his usual performance that negative words might reduce, but should another disappointing play occurred, things might get hotter at Etihad.
