Manchester City didn’t need a long time in getting their winning machine back on the run as after their latest draw against Crystal Palace, Pep Guardiola’s men were back with three points on Tuesday by beating Watford.
Keen on redeeming themselves following that goalless draw at Palace, Man City immediately put on an aggressive display straight from kick off.
The home team immediately got themselves in front when Raheem Sterling opened the scoring after just one minute of play, giving his side total control of proceeding.
Guardiola’s side continue to cruise and made it 2-0 thanks to an own goal from Christian Kabasele on 13 minutes.
Already having a comfortable two goals lead didn’t stop Man City continuing their attacking play as midway into the second half they added a third through Sergio Aguero.
Watford themselves were only able to pull one goal back with an effort from Andre Gray who scored eight minutes from time.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur continue to put on a bit of mini winning run picking up their third straight league victories after defeating lowly Swansea City 2-0.
Ever since their big defeat against City, Spurs have been picking up nothing but three points including their Tuesday away trip against Swansea.
Two goals for Mauricio Pochettino’s men were netted by Fernando Llorente in the 12th minute and Dele Alli just before the final 90 minutes mark.
