Real Madrid winger, Lucas Vazquez might not be considered by many as someone who will directly replace Cristiano Ronaldo should if the Portuguese was absent.
However, that was what happened this midweek during Madrid’s Champions League first leg tie against Man City. Vazquez was trusted by Zinedine Zidane to replace the injured Ronaldo.
Being given the starting role in place of the Portuguese makes Vazquez feeling grateful towards Zidane as it’s an opportunity that he hopes can continue to arrive.
Not that Vazquez is wishing a continuous injury problems for Ronaldo, but the Spaniard only hope of getting more playing time, especially in important games.
The winger added that he was never afraid of being given such important task as Vazquez always believes in his own ability to make it at Madrid.
