Liverpool Running Away in Premier League After Demolishing Arsenal

Liverpool are getting more comfortable at the top of English Premier League following their big home win over Arsenal at Anfield.

Playing their final home game in 2018, The Reds were determined to put out a showcase for their beloved fans, but they didn’t really have a good start into that tie.

It was Gunners that got off to a bright start as they got themselves in front through Ainsley Maitland-Niles after just 11 minutes of play.

However, that lead didn’t last long as The Reds got back on level terms three minutes later with an effort from Roberto Firmino.

The Brazilian was on a roll that night as they netted his second soon afterwards to turn things around into Liverpool’s favor.

Things suddenly got worse for the visitor as Liverpool continue their dominance by adding two more goals in that first half through Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah’s spot kick.

Nothing really changed  much after the break as both teams still keeping the same aggressive attacking approach, but it was The Reds that able to add another goal as Firmino completed his hat trick from the spot.

A big win indeed for Liverpool as they now extend their lead at the top of Premier League following Tottenham Hotspur shocking 3-1 defeat against Wolves, while Manchester City will play on Sunday.
