UEFA Champions League quarter finals set to provide more entertainment for football fans, notably as there’s several exciting match ups, including Premier League derby between Liverpool and Manchester City.
Those two remaining English teams will have to battle each others for a spot in the semi final, triggering potential exciting battle as both teams have previously shown during their league meetings.
The remaining clubs in the competition feature a number of nailed-on domestic champions – City, Barcelona, PSG & Bayern all have comfortable leads in their respective leagues, whilst predictions for the main European leagues have Juventus tipped to win Serie A.
This season both sides split their winning record as Man City slammed The Reds at Etihad, while the opposite happened when they met at Anfield.
Considering those results along with both teams attacking style of play, that match could really turn into an exciting and intriguing affair, especially since there will only be one side that advance into the semifinal.
Another potentially mouthwatering clash is the repeat of last season’s Champions League final as Juventus battle Real Madrid.
Los Blancos comfortably defeated Juve in the final 4-1, but this time they will be playing two legged ties, which might give the Italian a different outcome.
Losing that final was certainly a disappointing experience for Juve, so they are very determined to get their revenge against the Spanish giant.
However, Madrid are still a strong and experience side, that continue to prove their quality in the tournament.
Despite not having the best of season in their local league, Zinedine Zidane’s men remain a strong and capable side in Europe, which was proves with their success in eliminating Paris Saint-Germain.
