Liverpool, Arsenal Back On Winning Ways

Liverpool finally got themselves back on winning ways after several disappointing result as Jurgen Klopp’s men stunned Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at Anfield.

The Reds once again showed their ability to compete against Premier League top teams as they put on an excellent display to overcome Maurico Pochettino’s men.

Klopp’s side started off strongly, putting on their high pressing football which cause plenty problems for Spurs as the away side were forced to make many errors.

From the mistakes that their opponent’s made, Liverpool were able to take the lead when Sadio Mane pierce through the Lilywhites back line on 16 minutes before beating Hugo Lloris on Spurs’ goal.

Within just two minutes later, another poor defensive play allowed the home team to double their lead as Man finished off a scrappy play and gave his side a 2-0 lead going into half time break.

Spurs tried to up their game in the second half, but they just don’t have enough fire power to break down Klopp’s boys as The Reds hold their two goals advantage.

Meanwhile, Arsenal as predicted were able to bounce back from their previous defeat against Chelsea as this weekend Arsene Wenger’s side defeated struggling Hull City 2-0.

Chilean international, Alexis Sanchez was the hero for Gunners in that tie as he netted both goals for his side, giving them that all important three points.

Just like those two sides, Manchester United also grabbed maximum points as Jose Mourinho’s men defeated Watford also with a 2-0 score line.

Spanish attacking midfielder, Juan Mata opened the scoring for United, before Anthony Martial sealed their victory with his effort on 60 minutes.
