Lampard Retired from International Football

A generation change is set to occur in England national side setup for upcoming Euro 2016 preparation after another veteran midfielder, Frank Lampard decided to follow Steven Gerrard’s footsteps in retiring from international football.

Lampard who is currently on loan at Manchester City, stated that although it’s not easy for him to take that decision since he has always been proud of representing England at international competition.

Being one of few English players who already reached centenary caps with Three Lions, though unfortunately there’s no major trophies that the ex-Chelsea man earned during his national side experience.

Still, Lampard will always be known as one of Three Lions’ best midfield players in the last decade and might also be widely remembered for his controversially disallowed goal during World Cup 2010 against Germany.
