Germany national team captain Philipp Lahm was pleased with the performance that his team put on against Kazakhstan on their latest World Cup qualifying match which Der Panzer won 4-1. Lahm stated that their first half effort was something that German fans can be proud of as the team’s clinical play pretty much sealed things in that half.
Although Lahm admitted that his team’s performance dropped after the break, especially their finishing, but it was still a positive outcome for Germany as they already sealed their victory in the first 45 minutes.
The defender said that the important thing is German achieved their target in gaining six points from two matches.
