Klinsmann Targets Opening Game Victory for USA

USA national side are gearing up to play their World Cup 2014 opener against Ghana on June 16 and despite not being considered as favorite, head coach Jurgen Klinsmann is not shying away from targeting all three points from that upcoming tie.

Speaking to the media in a recent press conference, Klinsmann admitted that Ghana will be a difficult opponent to face for USA, but the German tactician believes that his players have the chance in winning that tie.

Furthermore, Klinsmann also keen on urging his players to prove their quality as this competition is the best platform for any football players, including US national side in showing their talents.

Seeing that USA must also battle against Germany and Portugal, it’s understandable that Klinsmann is very eager in grabbing all three points against Ghana, since a positive start could very well open their chance in getting into the knock out stage.
