Klinsmann Not Rushing to Name USA World Cup Squad

The World Cup 2014 is just couple months away but USA national team head coach, Jurgen Klinsmann refused to rush his side’s preparation, including naming the 23-players squad for that upcoming tournament.

The former Germany boss revealed that he will take his time and basically maximize the maximum deadline time set by FIFA, which is on June 2nd, before officially confirming the players that he will be taking to Brazil.

Klinsmann stated his reason in doing it is because he don’t wan’t to suddenly loss players ahead of the tournament because of unexpected injuries, which often happens during international friendly games. “There’s no reason to name it earlier and suddenly you have an injury god forbid or whatever happens,” the head coach explained.

Furthermore, the head coach also confirmed that he will be taking more than 23 players list for US’s training camp ahead of the World Cup so he can wisely prepare everything, especially immediately getting a replacement should any players picked up an injury.

Klinsmann decision might not be all rosy as some players who won’t be making the cut, might felt rather disappointed as they got written off just days before the real tournament starts.
