After facing a rather difficult second leg battle against Galatasaray, Real Madrid will most likely face a much tougher task on their Champions League semifinal battle against Borussia Dortmund. Acknowledging that Madrid failed to beat their Bundesliga counterpart during their group stage match up, Los Blancos assistant manager Aitor Karanka warned his players not taking their opponent lightly.
Madrid’s recent rise of form including their stature apparently puts them as favorite for the upcoming semifinal stage, this situation is what Karanka isn’t keen about as it could lead into complacency from his players. The assistant added that it’s very wrong for Los Blancos to think that they’re already heading into the final.
