Positive news arrived for Chelsea fans as one of their important players, N’Golo Kante has decided to stay at Stamford Bridge until June 2023 after recently signing a new contract extension with Maurizio Sarri’s side.
Entering his third season with The Blues, Kante has transformed himself as one of the club’s most valuable piece and his stay will certainly bring plenty of joy along with enthusiasm at the Bridge.
The current new deal itself reportedly worth 290,000 pounds per week, making the France international star Chelsea’s highest paid player for now.
Kante himself expressed his joy with the new deal by stating his hope of experiencing more joy than the exciting two previous seasons he already experienced with the London based outfit.
Moreover, the midfielder also believed that playing at Chelsea has helped him improved further as a player, that’s why he is enjoying his time there and is very keen on continuing to play at Stamford Bridge.
Not only giving tons of joy for the loyal fans, but The Blues are hoping that their success in keeping an important player such as Kante can further improve their shot in extending Eden Hazard’s contract.
It’s not a secret that Sarri’s side are very keen on locking up their Belgium international super star, especially since the attacker has not been secretive in expressing his desire to play for Real Madrid.
Having the ability to keep providing quality and competitive squad might give Hazard an insurance that he can achieve all of his goals with Chelsea instead of moving away.
