Manchester United might still be sitting sixth in the current English Premier League standings, but that doesn’t shut down Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s confidence in the Red Devil’s chance in competing for the title this season.
Speaking in a recent interview, Ibrahimovic stated that albeit being 13 points behind league leader, Chelsea, there’s no need to lose any confidence especially if United players keep working hard.
Nevertheless, the Swede admitted that for his side to get back into the title challenge, they do need ‘help’ from those teams above them to slip up.
It won’t be an easy thing obviously, but with their current positive form, Ibra has every reason to remain optimistic with his side’s chances as the season is still long.
The former AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain star strongly hope that his side can maintain their current form as that’s the only way for them to get back on that title track.
Personally, Ibrahimovic himself said that he is feeling well and not having any issues whatsoever playing in the premier league.
He also added that so far he is happy playing at Manchester United, although adding that he could be much happier should his side are sitting higher in the table.
