Hughes Believes Tactics Were Key for Stoke Win Over Man City

Stoke City picked up a precious win this weekend as they defeated one of the league favorite, Manchester City 2-0 at Brittania stadium.

That victory brought joy for Stoke’s boss, Mark Hughes, who admitted that their victory happened because of the team success in executing the game tactics.

Hughes stated that his team’s success in doing the game plan they setup really put their opponent in trouble as Man City can’t even get a foot hold in that match.

Meanwhile, Man City boss, Manuel Pellegrini admitted that he is concerned with his team’s performance as not only they were poor defensively, but the Etihad based outfit also didn’t create much chances.

Pellegrini stated that defending is not something that should only be burdened to the defenders as everyone should also help out defensively.

Furthermore, the tactician also admitted that his players were unable to put out the similar kind of energy Stoke had in that match.
