Rumors regarding Chelsea’s plan in getting a new striker has been filling the media recently, but that doesn’t seem to be something The Blues’ star, Eden Hazard is keen on happening.
Speaking in a recent interview with the media, Hazard stated that his side don’t really new another addition up front as they already have quality attackers such as Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi.
Moreover, the former Lille star added that he himself can also fill in that center forward role if needed, that’s why the Belgium international believes Chelsea are practically fine up front.
Hazard also stated that suggestion over their need for striker only arrived because they have been missing chances as if they’re clinical the Blues are basically one of the best out there.
Aside from stating that he is happy with his teammates’, the attacking midfielder also ensured that his future at Chelsea remain save and not planning to leave Stamford Bridge anytime soon.
The 27-year-old insisted that he is happy playing at Stamfrod Bridge and keen on finishing this year there, while adding that he still has two years left in his current deal.
It remain to be seen on whether Hazard’s statement will indeed affecting The Blues’ plan in January transfer window as recent rumors strongly linking them with AS Roma forward, Edin Dzeko.
