Chelsea’s summer signing, Eden Hazard, has been lighting up the premiership in this early part of season with one goal and six assist, helping his side topping the league.
However, things might just turned differently as Hazard admitted that he was actually close in joining Tottenham Hotspur before eventually choosing the Blues.
Revealing the news to French Media, Hazard said that Spurs’ failure to grab a Champions League ticket made the player opted other solution and things went easier after he saw the Blues’ success in winning the competition last season. That success ensured his decision in choosing Chelsea.
