Gerrard Bids Farewell to England Duty

After a disappointing World Cup 2014 campaign, Liverpool skipper, Steven Gerrard finally decided to quit his service for England national side after 14 years of  tasting international football.

Gerrard did revealed that he will take some time to think about his international career after the World Cup and now he opted to end his international career which saw him making 114 appearances already for the Three Lions.

Already reaching the later stage of his footballing career, Gerrard probably felt that it’s time for him to fully get his focus for Liverpool as he already did enough for England.

Unfortunately for Gerrard the final days of his national team career didn’t go that well, as England were a disappointment at World Cup 2014, failing to win any single games and ending up bottom of their group.
