Germany Move Top of FIFA Ranks After World Cup Glory

Germany’s success in winning their fourth World Cup title has affected their FIFA rankings as Joachim Low’s men are confirmed as the number one team in the world after sitting top of that ranks.

Der Panzer replaced Spain as Vicente Del Bosque’s team had a horrible World Cup campaign, exiting the tournament after two group games. It was something that has been predicted as Germany were already sitting at second spot before the new ranking was announced.

Although German side might not give much concern towards rankings, but being labeled as FIFA’s number one team can often help them in the drawings during any tournament.

Aside from Germany, Argentina and Netherlands also find themselves moving up in the ranks as Albiceleste now sitting second while Arjen Robben and co sits behind them at third.
