Germany are yet to secure their place in the knock out stages or World Cup 2014 after being held into a 2-2 draw by Ghana this weekend, but there was still something to celebrate for Der Panzer fans after that match.

Although their national team still need at least a point from their final group game against USA, German fans can at least celebrate the achievement of their star striker, Miroslav Klose, who has reached legendary status in World Cup history.

The Lazio striker scored Germany’s equalizing goal on that match, but his strike was more than just a normal equalizer as it was also his 15th in all World Cup, lifting his name in the same spot as Brazil legendary forward, Ronaldo.

Joachim Loew obviously hopes that Klose’s success will further motivate him in chasing for more goals for Germany on their upcoming matches as they might still need more heroics from the veteran forward.
