Italy made their way into the last eight of Euro 2016 after completing their revenge over Spain, beating Vicente Del Bosque’s men 2-0, with goals from Giorgio Chiellini and Graziano Pelle.

From those two goals, Pelle can be considered as the best one on that match days as aside from the fine volley he attempted, but it was also the one that sealed Azzurri’s victory.

That goal arrived right after Spain missed their best chance in that game and within seconds, Italy got into the attack and despite a slight lucky deflection from Matteo Darmian’s cross, still Pelle executed it very well.

Strangely, the Southampton’s man goal was somewhat similar with the one he scored against Belgium, in which they were also winning 2-0.

Moreover, apart from scoring that lovely volley, Pelle also played excellent throughout the game, his presence, touches, strength and movement were troubling La Furia Roja’s center backs.
