England’s success in reaching 100% record on their Euro 2016 qualifier campaign brought many joyful experience for their players, notably Phil Jagielka and Jack Butland.

Both players expressed their delight following a comfortable 3-0 away win against Lithuania on Monday, which confirmed that perfect group record, and sees England head into next years tournament as the current fifth favourites at 11/1.

Jagielka, who captained the side on the Lithuania game, stated that albeit knowing it won’t be easy, but once the match started and they scored first, things eventually went according to plan.

The Everton player was also happy as he was trusted with Three Lions’ captain armband on that match, an experience which he considered as an honor.

Meanwhile, Butland himself hope that he can continue to get into the squad for Euro 2016 and put some pressure on current England number one goalie, Joe Hart.
